Digital Delivery Policy
Loom & Ledger sells downloadable sewing patterns and guides. A purchase does not include fabric, notions, printed sheets, or postal delivery.
How patterns are delivered
Following successful payment, the confirmation screen provides access and an email is sent to the address supplied during checkout. Delivery is normally available within minutes. If the payment remains pending or is selected for a security review, release can take up to twenty-four hours.
Contents of an edition
Product descriptions identify the supplied sizes and file types. A typical edition contains tiled A4 and US Letter PDFs, an A0 copyshop file, illustrated instructions, and a license note inside a ZIP archive. Fabric and finished examples shown in photographs are presentation references only.
Printing and scale checks
Open pattern PDFs in a full PDF reader and print at 100 percent or actual size with scaling disabled. Measure the test square before printing every page. Printer margins, browser preview tools, and automatic fit settings can change the pattern dimensions. Copyshop staff should also be asked not to resize A0 sheets.
Software and equipment
Layer visibility requires a PDF reader that supports optional content. Some phone viewers flatten layers. You are responsible for access to compatible software, a suitable printer or copyshop, paper, and sewing equipment. We list page sizes and approximate download sizes before purchase.
Personal download access
The purchaser may save reasonable backup copies and print working sheets for personal projects covered by the included license. Digital files must not be forwarded, uploaded to a shared drive, resold, traced into another commercial pattern, or supplied to a workshop group without written permission.
Delivery help
If an email is missing, check spam and confirm that the payment completed. Retry interrupted downloads on a stable connection and extract the ZIP before opening individual PDFs. Contact patterns@loomandledger.com with the order reference if files remain unavailable or corrupted.
Corrections
We will replace an incomplete archive or correct a material file error. Include the edition name, PDF reader, paper format, and a photograph or screenshot showing the issue. Pattern errata may be issued to verified purchasers. Style preference and ordinary fitting adjustments are not file defects.
Returns and statutory rights
Because a sewing pattern can be copied after download, delivered digital editions are generally final. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded. If the advertised files are unavailable or fundamentally unusable and we cannot provide a correction, we will offer the remedy required by applicable law.
